Bellow sealed gate valve is a type of gate valve. The gate valves control the flow of liquid in a pipeline by having a gate that can open and close. The Bellows Sealed Valves have a rising stem connected to a handwheel that is connected to a long bellow. The bonnet bolt is mostly heavy hex and can be easily maintained. The flange is welded, socket welded or NPT at the end. The applications of these special valves include zero emission and fire safe construction, low emission secondary sealing, welded bonnet types, seat and wedge stellite facing applications. The Bellows seal gate valves have different dimensions according to API, ASME, and MSS standards. The valves range in size from 2 inches to 36 inches. Larger diameter valves are also available up on request.

The impermeable barrier is formed by welding the bellows to the stem and to the bottom of the bonnet. The Bellows seal cast steel valves are very common in applications where there are other materials used to create these valves. There are austenitic steel valves, carbon steel valves, duplex steel valves and other alloy made valves. The different sizes of the Stainless Steel Bellows Seal Valve and different grades are made for various application types. Although this is a leak proof system, the valve gland or stuffing box can leak during longer operations. This has to be managed by proper maintenance of the valve and the pipeline.
